I’m Manuel, or Manny, or Manuel Alfonso del Sagrado Corazon de Maria García Orellana Baralt for short.

I’m a freelance copywriter currently at Wieden+Kennedy Sydney. Before that, I wrote at Fallon. Before them, Translation. Before that, I think I went to Canada on vacation?—before that, I probably got a passport, and before that, I was born in New Jersey. Which means sometimes I say ‘cawfee’. You may not find it endearing. Unless you really love the Real Housewives of New Jersey, in which case, you might just love me.

However, I don’t know if I love you yet, stranger. After all, we just met. But here’s what I do know: I love very specific Spotify playlists, talking tattoo ideas, movie posters, and the word maracuyá. I also love work that’s social-first, culture-forward, and falls somewhere in between smart and somewhat shit-headed.
