Hoopless
I lived in the Mecca of street hoops during the pandemic. I picked up photography somewhere in between baking bread, gaining weight, learning hobbies, thinking I was good at painting, clapping for first responders, crying for my mom, wiping down packages, growing a beard that made me look like a revolutionary, losing weight, crying more, and yelling ceaselessly into the void.
Anyway here’s all the most important hoops in streetball history, without their hoops. Let’s never do that again.
Rucker Park / I had to hop that fence to get in here.
Dyckman Court / Where Kareem became Kareem.
